The Gang Gets Baked, 2022

A yearly edit of all my best videography from 2022. I felt inspired to pick up the camera and record video footage when my friends & I got baked and either traveled/hiked/camped together or at times when I was baked and enjoyed the nature in solitude.

It's amazing to look back on this footage from 2022, as it was one of the most challenging years for me yet. My older brother ended up getting a trumatic brain injury in May, so I spent my summer down in Atlanta to see him almost every day. Some clips come from those long drives that I eventually made w/ my friends.

As the year went on, I spent a lot of time grieving over the relationship that I once had with my older brother. I found it theraputic to go back and look at all the video footage I collected to remember the good moments as well.

Just A Little, 2022

When floralcowstudios, Dominick Rivers, released his second EP, Wasteland Disco, he asked me if I wanted to make a music video for his song “Just A Little.”

After the first time listening to it, I instantly felt inspired to record myself biking at a local park to use as the background footage. I took this footage and stabiliazed it in After Effects, and spent a good amount of time adding the lyrics into the 3D space. The lyrics are made with a custom font that I made using my own handwriting. Since Dominick’s work is film focused, I edited the footage to look more grainy/included light streaks. In the end, it creates a video that not only holds my personal art style, but his as well.

The Gang Goes Camping, 2021

A short video containing some of my best videography from 2021. I found most of these clips came from traveling to different states to go camping with my friends. I decided to leave the edit very minimal to help give off those old-school home video days.

Nature’s Light Show, 2020

This piece was created from studying how light interacts and reflects off of a crystal ball, a mirror, and a custom-made background made of smashed CD’s. Then, I used four different types of lights each resembling a different enviornment found in nature.
